•RAVEN CLUB is an artistic composition nightclub that will have its Grand Opening on Thursday, August 22, 2013, located in Presidente Masaryk, Plaza Zentro in Mexico City.
•International celebrity and burlesque artist Dita Von Teese will host the first night of Raven Club.
Mexico City, August 16, 2013. Raven Club is a nightclub of artistic composition with a stylized language in an intimate atmosphere with a sense of hospitality, art, counterculture, performance, and high-quality entertainment. Raven Club will have its Gran Inauguration on Thursday, August 22 of 2013 in Mexico City.
For the first time officially in Mexico, Dita Von Teese will be present at Raven Club.
Internationally known as the Queen of Burlesque, Dita Von Teese has performed at exclusive events and parties for Victoria’s Secret, Christian Louboutin, Marc Jacobs, Cartier, and Louis Vuitton, among others.
This “Burlesque Superheroine” (Vanity Fair) and fashion icon has recently expanded into her own brands including lingerie, fragrances, cosmetics, and clothing. Dita has been the image of many firms such as Cointreau, Perrier, and M.A.C Viva Glam Cosmetics.
Additionally, her spectacle “Burlesque: Strip Strip Hooray!” is on tour with upcoming presentations in New York, Boston, and other cities on the east coast of the United States with presentation dates until 2014. Dita Von Teese has been the cover image for the most important magazines around the world; as are PlayBoy, Flaunt, Cosmopolitan, FHM, Vogue, Vanity Fair, and Esquire, to name a few. “Raven is not a nightclub, it is a theater waiting for its characters,” says Daniel Habif, founder of Raven Club. This place has talented national and international DJs, both from the conventional and underground scene, in different genres of electronic music. Our guests will also enjoy live acts of funk, hip hop, blues R&B, jazz, and soul. It should be noted that Raven Club members can participate in art events such as auctions, fashion shows, exhibitions, concerts, in addition to having benefits with different brands.
Dita von Teese glamorizes Raven Club’s night
The “Queen of Burlesque” graced the opening of the nightclub located in Plaza Zentro, Polanco, after visiting places such as the Frida Kahlo Museum or the Basilica of Guadalupe.
The night of Mexico City was full of glamor, and twice. On the one hand, the actress Milla Jovovich who participated in Fashion Fest Liverpool, and on the other the presence of Dita von Teese, the «Queen of burlesque», who patronized the opening of the Raven Club nightclub.
